Be safe, be smart and follow safety advice from the Victorian Government.
In the lead-up to Christmas, Melbourne’s iconic buskers take over the city’s streets and laneways, with daily performances at over 20 locations between 11am and 7pm.
Filling the city’s streets with music is a great way to support local artists and attract people back into the city. The ANZ City Vibes program provides a lifeline for Melbourne’s busking community who’ve been unable to perform throughout lockdown.
Busking locations include Hardware Lane, Bourke Street Mall, Flinders Lane, Southbank Promenade, Docklands, New Quay, Queen Victoria Market, Melbourne Town Hall, Swanston Street and more.
The buskers will also be integrated with upcoming events including the Melbourne Christmas Festival, Melbourne Fashion Week and Melbourne Music Week Extended to provide entertainment across the city.
This program is supported by the City of Melbourne, the Victorian Government and ANZ.
