This casual hawker-style eatery is touted as the cheapest Michelin-starred restaurant in the world, after the original outlet in Singapore gained the coveted star back in 2016.

Now with locations around the world, this no-frills eatery specialises in Hong Kong-style roasted meats. Think crisp-skinned soy chicken, pork ribs and barbecue pork, served with rice or noodles.

The marinade for the signature soy chicken dish is a closely guarded secret and is still made daily in Singapore and shipped around the world.

There are no reservations so be prepared to queue.
