Melbourne's favourite foodie festival is back to warm you up with a winter edition, from 20 to 29 August.

Rekindle the long lunch, watch top chefs on the grill or join a plant-based party. Head to an epic hot chip tribute and take the family to a free pasta festa.

Maximum Chips

Friday 20 August

Hot chips plus great drinks equals a party in this epic ode to the potato's greatest form. Pile your plate with crinkle-cut, shoestring or french fries. All your dipping options are covered by The Condiments Crew, with Australian wines by Hey Tomorrow.

Ticket price includes a welcome drink, live entertainment and max chips.

Rekindle the lost art of the big-city long lunch. Ten of Melbourne’s favourite lunch spots serve up choice cuts, grilled to perfection and carved to share. Plus martinis on arrival and fine wines flowing into the arvo.

Lunch the day away at Bar Margaux, Chancery Lane, The Supper Club, Farmer’s Daughters, Grossi Grill, San Telmo and more.

Welcome to the Jungle

Friday 27 August

Step inside a lush garden with a live soundtrack for this plant-based party. Expect delight, not deprivation when some of Melbourne's best restaurants dish up a raucous reboot of plant-based dining.

Food is by Shannon Martinez, Smith & Daughters, Fancy Hank's and Rumi. With drinks by The LuWow, plus a zero-alcohol bar.

The Remixed Grill

21 and 22 August

Two days, 10 top chefs and 300 degrees of wood-fired feasting. Catch cooking demos, live music and marshmallow-toasting for the kids, at this mega market weekend.

Talent on the tongs includes Andrew McConnell (Supernormal), Shane Delia (Maha), Nornie Bero (Mabu Mabu), Afik Gal (Miznon), Tina Li (Dainty Sichuan) and more. Plus regional wines are on pour at the Festival Bar.

The Big Spaghetti

28 and 29 August

Iconic Italian eateries take pasta back to its street food roots in this family-friendly festa. Featuring 10 pasta stalls from Tipo 00, Marameo, Massi, Trattoria Emilia and more. With cocktails by Bar Americano and Italian vino from the King Valley. Plus live music, cooking demos and a pasta playground for the kids.
