Get to know the city's beautiful network of urban parks and gardens.

Join a guided 8km three-hour hike through Melbourne's famous parks and gardens, discover their history and contemporary uses and learn about the many native animals that continue to live in the heart of our city.

Starting in the north at Carlton Gardens and finishing at Federation Square, the hike takes you through seven inner-city parks and past several of Melbourne's icons, including the Royal Exhibition Building, Cooks Cottage, the MCG, the Federation Bells, the Botanic Gardens and Shrine of Remembrance.
