Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Moon Landing

Image1

Description

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing and subsequent walk on the surface by Armstrong and Aldrin, the Astronomical Society of Victoria (ASV) will be showing the Sea of Tranquility (where the landing took place) and other features of the moon through telescopes provided by Saxon.

The moon rises soon after 9pm that night, so until then they will also be offering views of Jupiter and Saturn.

Bring your family and friends and join the celebration.
