Sydney's Black Star Pastry opens a Carlton pop-up store, selling a selection of their famous sweet treats, including their signature and most requested cake - Strawberry Watermelon Cake.
In 2008 Christopher Thé opened his own boutique patisserie, Black Star Pastry, in Sydney's Newtown, which flourished and garnered critical praise both locally and internationally.
The Black Star team source their produce from market so they get only the best quality and are in tune with the seasons. They do not use flavourings, dyes or anything unnatural in their food, ensuring their customers can taste the immediacy, freshness and life in their products.
The Carlton pop-up store will be open for three months, with a potential for staying longer.
