 Preparing Your Winter Veggie Patch

Image1

Description

Broccoli, broad beans, pak choi, carrots – there are so many delicious vegetables that can be grown successfully in autumn and winter.

March is planting time, and this workshop will give you all the inspiration to get started. Learn tips and tricks to plant your patch and keep it thriving through the cooler months, including advice about individual crops.

This workshop is perfect for those just starting their veggie patch, or those who have been gardening for a year or two. It will focus on taking plants from seeds all the way up to getting the most out of your harvest.

This workshop is part of the Sow Grow Graze campaign across City of Melbourne Community Hubs.
