Be You Be Scene places the voices and experiences of international students centre stage. Through a creative, fun yet meaningful workshop and consultation process, international students have used storytelling to express and explore the issues impacting their lives in Australia.
Participants from the program will perform an excerpt from their upcoming performance, examining mental health and wellness. The performance will be followed by an opportunity to join the discussion, through creative activities lead by Signal artists and conversations lead by the performers themselves.
This event is free and open to anyone aged 13 to 25. Catering will be provided.
Be You Be Scene is funded by Study Melbourne, presented by ISANA: International Education Association and AFIS - Australian Federation of International Students and supported by RMIT University, Monash College, RMIT Training, and Signal (City of Melbourne).
