 A Night in the Alps

Image1

Description

Milk the Cow's best-selling cheese fondue series is back to keep everyone toasty this winter.

You'll be greeted with a warming Glühwein made from their traditional recipe, and walked through what it takes to make a fantastic cheese fondue. Start with a deconstructed tasting - a cheeseboard full of the classic Alpine cheeses they use in their signature fondues, before their cheesemongers show you the secrets to preparing the perfect pot of melted cheese (tastings on 7 & 14 August).

It's tradition to finish off the Fondue Series with a bang so cue their infamous Grundlegend fondue on the final tasting night (21 August). Their Grundlegend fondue, once voted one of the '50 Foods You Should Have Eaten If You Live In Melbourne' by The UrbanList is no less legendary today. It is made with three of their most exceptional Alpine cheeses, set with French sparkling wine and finished with a drizzle of truffle honey. We'll even show you how to make it, after you've tasted each of the included cheeses, deconstructed on your cheeseboard.

The venue's favourite Alpine accordionist will be playing live at all three events, and après-ski sweaters is encouraged - but not essential!
