Presented by Craft Victoria, the Real to Reel Craft Film Festival showcases unexpected tales of making from around the world featuring contemporary Aboriginal weaving, an Indian clay performance, scrap puppets, glassblowing, metalsmithing and a human-powered bakery.
Over two screenings, a medley of 33 short films explore the human relationship with making and materials. They offer a rare opportunity to witness craft in action and the narratives, passion and skill inherent in the creation of works.
Real to Reel forms part of the Craft Cubed Festival presented by Craft Victoria. Craft Cubed is supported by the City of Melbourne Triennial Arts Grants Program.
