Description

Yirramboi means 'tomorrow' in the shared local languages of the Boonwurrung and Woiwurrung peoples. Celebrating over two thousand generations of continuous cultural practice and knowledge, YIRRAMBOI Festival 2019 is all about what's next.

Hear the music of our local superstars, be absorbed by thought-provoking new theatre and unexpected dance performance, check out exhibitions, markets and fashion parades – there are in excess of 100 events showing off more than 200 absolutely magnificent First Nations creatives.

Highlights include the festival hub at Meat Market, an epic array of concerts from the likes of Dan Sultan and Alice Skye, a citywide Blak-out of free events for Barring Yanabul, the world-famous Miss First Nation competition and a series of talks and panel discussions.

Location

Meat Market
3 Blackwood Street
North Melbourne VIC 3051
Meat Market is the festival hub, but events take place at various locations citywide, see website for details
