Description

The Light Horse has captured the Australian imagination more so than any other campaign in the First World War.

This exhibition explores the myths and realities of the Light Horse fighting in the desert wastes of Sinai, Palestine and Syria. Featuring paintings by George Lambert, Sidney Nolan and Susan McMinn and original memorabilia of Lieutenant-General Harry Chauvel.
