Preservation is an Act of Political Warfare

Image1

Description

This exhibition brings together works by three artists from different geographical and cultural contexts. What ties their practice together is their reflection on the legacy of their places of origin and to participate in the struggles associated with the validation and preservation of their heritage.

The conversation among them is established through exchange residencies that took place in Sicily (Italy), Gippsland, Victoria, and the Aboriginal community of Peppimenarti, Northern Territory.
