 Art of Science Exhibition

Image1Image2

Description

The stunning images and videos featured in this free annual exhibition have been captured by researchers tackling some of the biggest health challenges facing humanity including cancer, infectious diseases and ageing.

Art of Science is a showcase of 20 finalists from the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute's annual Art of Science competition.

You'll get a 'backstage pass' into the laboratory as you are taken on a visual journey of biomedical exploration and discovery, made possible by the Institute's state-of-the-art imaging facilities.

See intestinal cells devouring themselves; neurons forming vital connections for the brain to function; and a parasite-infected human cell moments before it bursts.

All visitors are invited to submit their choice for the People's Choice Award and go in the running to win a framed print of their favourite image.
