 In the Mirror

Description

Written and directed by Mammad Aidani, In the Mirror is about Shaun, a white Australian who comes from a broken, working-class family, and Virginia, who has fled her war-torn country to live in a free, democratic and peaceful society. Both Shaun and Virginia are desperately looking for proper jobs.

The play is also about indifferent narcissists Paula and Paul, who abuse their power in the interviews they conduct with Shaun and Virginia, and their junior colleague Hendro, a second-generation migrant who aspires to become like them.
