 Cinema Fiasco

Description

Cinema Fiasco is a comedy-movie mashup showcasing bad movies on the big screen with hilarious live commentary by film buff comedians Janet A. McLeod and Geoff Wallis, the David and Margaret of bad movies. The movie plays as per usual with the soundtrack intact, Geoff and Janet just chip in at salient points. Sounds fun? It is.

Dec 6: Monster Dog (1984). A werewolf movie made by the director of Troll 2 and starring Alice Cooper – it sounds too good to be true, but it exists and it is mandatory viewing.

Jan 10: Barbarians (1987). Sword and sorcery silliness starring identical twin bodybuilders. Stacks of grunting, whipping and fighting, an ‘80s synthesizer soundtrack, and awesome ‘80s hair and makeup.

Feb 7: Octaman (1971). Mexican-American horror movie featuring a murderous humanoid octopus. Future Oscar-winner Rick Baker designed the costume, but don't get too hopeful about a quality octo-suit – this was his first movie. It is hilariously bad.
