Description

Curtin House is an Art Nouveau building on Swanston Street, built in 1922. Demonstrating vertical retailing, its six stories include Thai restaurant and bar Cookie, Rooftop Bar & Cinema, website developers, Metropolis bookshop and Collector's Corner rare record store. Live music venue The Toff In Town hosts cabaret, comedy, acoustic, blues, jazz and world music performances.

Originally the Tattersalls Building, it was renamed after the Labor Prime Minister John Curtin.
