Description

ReadingRoom is an independent, hybrid exhibition space and library. The gallery collaborates with a small group of artists, developing a program of exhibitions, and provides them with a platform for discussions through publications, film screenings and conversations.

A supplementary programme titled Footnotes, taking place in the Library, invites artists to engage with the collection of books, as well as their own, to form and present their own bibliography. Footnotes also hosts occasional events.

The ReadingRoom programme is largely produced on Kulin Nation land. ReadingRoom acknowledge the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation as the first and continuing custodians of this land, and pay respect to their elders and ancestors.
