Strangers Corridor, in Parliament House, offers sophisticated dining in an elegant setting. Dark timbers and contemporary artworks are the setting for an indulgent lunch or decadent high tea.
Featuring locally grown and produced Victorian foods, the menu changes with the seasons, to showcase the richness and diversity of Victoria’s produce. The menu may include such delights as fried zucchini flowers, with lemon ricotta, wild rocket and basil oil; chargrilled whole garfish, with truffled couscous; chorizo quesadilla, with provolone cheese; or wild boar pie.
Strangers Corridor is renowned for its afternoon tea of freshly baked scones with jam and cream, exquisite pastries and finger sandwiches on tiered stands. Upon arrival at Parliament House, take a guided tour of the Parliament, then enjoy a glass of sparkling wine, whilst afternoon delicacies and unlimited freshly brewed tea and coffee is brought to your table.
