Description

Philippe Mouchel’s bistro showcases traditional, yet innovative, fine French cuisine. The menu includes charcoal-grilled wagyu rump with sauce béarnaise, wild barramundi fillet linguini and duck confit with seasonal fruits. There is a large selection of French and local wines, including those from Bordeaux, Burgundy and the Loire Valley..

Rated as one of the world’s finest French chefs, Philippe undertook his apprenticeship at Hotel Le Grand Cerf, Evreux. In recognition of his significant contribution to the Victorian culinary scene, Philippe was named Chef of the year at the 2011 Savour Australia Restaurant Catering Awards for Excellence, along with the Vittoria Legends Award from The Age Good Food Guide in 2012.
