Description

Pure South sources its meat and seafood direct from the paddocks and fishing boats of Tasmania and the Bass Strait islands, paired with fine Tasmanian wines.

The beef includes fine Cape Grim Hereford cattle, and all steaks are dry-aged for 14 to 28 days. According to today’s catch, expect to find lobsters, oysters, salmon, trout, scallops, mussels and abalone on the menu, sometimes accompanied by stripy trumpeter and harpuka.

There’s also premium lamb from Flinders Island, and some of the finest artisan cheeses in the country, sourced from Bruny Island, Pyengana and King Island.

A daily set lunch menu is available from Sunday to Friday, and a tasting dinner menu is served from Tuesday to Saturday.
