Carols by Candlelight

Warm-up your vocal cords and sing under the stars at Vision Australia's Carols by Candlelight, held each year on Christmas Eve in Sidney Myer Music Bowl. Experience the joy and beautiful music with millions of people across the country for a good cause. All proceeds from this beloved event go towards supporting children who are blind or have low vision.

Boxing Day Test

26 December

The annual Boxing Day Test kicks off on 26 December, bringing in thousands of passionate cricket fans to the MCG. This famous cricket match is held between the Australian cricket team and an international side, and every four years, the test match is played as part of the 5-match Ashes series with England.
